VETERAN STATESMAN TAKES CHARGE OF DOMINIONS OFFICE
r PH E Earl of Balfour celebrated his 79th birthday on Monday by taking over the charge of the
Dominions ofUe* in th« absence of Mr. L. S. Amery. He received many messages of congratulation. He still plays lawn tennis, and one of the messages he received was from the International Lawn Tennis Club, which represents 13 nations.
