JURY DISAGREES AT TWO TRIALS
GLENFIELD MAN DISCHARGED
When William Jenkins, a farmer, of Glenfield, was called this morning on a charge of unlawful carnal knowledge Mr. C. Paterson, who appeared for the Crown, intimated that nolle prosequi would be entered.
Three trials had been held, said Mr. Paterson, and at each of the two Supreme Court trials the jury had disagreed.
Mr. J. J. Sullivan, who appeared for the accused, asked that Jenkins b® discharged, and the order was made accordingly.
