A PROMISING ARTIST

TUDGING from the remarks of J a Southern sportsman who is, by the way, a capable judge, the young and promising sire Author Dillon has .another representative that bids fair to reach the highest society in the Dominion’s light harness arena. This is a three-year-old gelding from Pleasant Drive, dam of those proved pacers, Dalnahine and Dalmeny, who has been named Artistic. He is a magnificent animal, with a head full of brains and is a perfect actioned pacer. It is only a question, says the Southern authority, of the Author Dillon youngster training or to make a name for himself, and if ever there was a Cup horse in the making, it is Artistic. This chap should be worth keeping an eye on.
