ST. JOHN’S CHURCH
YOUNG PEOPLE’S CLUB The Young People’s Club of St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Papatoetoe, met in the schoolroom on Friday night, but owing to the inclement weather only a small number attended. The address by Dr. A. B. Jameson, which was scheduled to take place, was postponed till a future meeting, and the evening was spent in a social gathering, which was very much enjoyed by all present.
People needn’t always be kissing whenever they find themselves in the same room, just as Important a part of two people living together—perhaps the most important part of two people living together—is not being intimately looked at or spoken to every moment, but being allowed to have one’s own thoughts to oneself, whether m the same room or not. —From Cut Flowers,” by Oliver Onions.
