A BRITISH CONFERENCE

(British Official Wireless .) RUGBY Saturday

A conference which is without precedent in the railway service will be held to-morow at Birmingham.

The officials of both the Great Western Railway and the London, Midland and Scottish Railway will meet representatives of the local council of the National Unions of Raiiwaymen to consider the question of co-operation between the managements and the workers to promote the efficiency and the success of railways, and to consider ways of meeting the competition of road transport.—A. and N.Z.
