SNATCHED A HANDBAG (Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. “You cannot be allowed to get away with the proceeds of robbery,” said Mr E. D. The boy had been remanded from the Supreme Court for sentence, and was admitted to the care of the superintendent of child welfare. The lad’s mother was ordered to repay the £ll 15s stolen from the handbag which he snatched from a woman, after following her from a New Brighton picture theatre. The conditions of restitution were left to the juvenile probation officer to arrange.
