WAITEMATA CLUB ANNUAL PRIZE-NIGHT The strenuous occasions of a strenuous season were recalled to members of the Waitemata Boating Club on Saturday night, when the prizes won by successful oarsmen were presented at the annual smoke concert. The fine collection of trophies formed a striking display. Mr. Walter Dennison, who presided, congratulated the club on the maintenance of its high position in New Zealand rowing. In the course of an interesting toast list Mr. L. E. Brooker proposed the health of the Auckland Rowing Association, Mr. A. M, Wilson replying. Mr. A. McKay proposed the health of the

donors of trophies, Messrs. W. H. Reynolds and J. Fearon replying. In response to the Press toast, Messrs. L. M. Aitken and E. Madden replied. Trophies were presented to the following: T. Johnson, L. Brooker, W. A. Stevenson, C. G. Fearon, D. Smith A. N. McKay, W. Lowe, J. Stevenson! V. Smith, L c. Barker, H. B. Cullen, G. Barker, H. L>. Kendrick, E. V. GladR 1 H ' Sl ™ m °nds, D. Shaw, Jones, R.
