Parliament May Expect to be Busy
The House of Representatives will be busy this week. The Samoan Amendment Bill is set down for the committee stage tomorrow. The Financial Statement will probably be presented on Friday. The Rent Restrictions Act will have to be dealt with this week, as it expires on August 1, and it is intended to provide for the extension of the law for 12 monthsr. Two other Bills expected this week, the Religious Exercises in Schools Bill and the Gaming Amendment Bill, will provide material for long debates.
