Constable Injures Foot.—While Mounted Constable Bruce Thompson • was walking down Nolan Street, El- ; lerslie, about 6.30 yesterday evening. ■he slipped on a stone, and broke a small bone in his ankle. He was attended to by Dr. McGregor Grant, and j was later able to proceed to his home.
