PIANOS AT THE SHOW A COMPREHENSIVE EXHIBIT A happy slosran for a progressive music institution is “Everything musical," and it may be said that it is almost next to nature for Auckland district people to associate the term with the name of Lewis R. Eady and Son. Ltd., Auckland’s leading music stores and theatrical * box office. As of yore, the firm is worthily represented at the show with some of the many instruments which always are to be viewed in the modern showrooms at 162 Queen Street and 15 Karangahape be impossible within the space available at the Winter Exhibition to make a very comprehensive disnlav but the instruments shown are sufficient to indicate the high quality and service which have built the envied reputation of this creditable musical organisation. Lewis R. Eady and Son, Ltd., are also«distributors of Conn band instruments, which include the highgrade saxophones. The gramophone department is not neglected and in these days of greater gramophone competition it is always refreshing to look at the outstanding “His Master’s Voice,” which has never been superseded, although the Chappell Cliftophone, created by the famous Chappell Piano firm, is a gramophone of the highest class. Ukeleles and steel guitars also take their place and Mr. Bishaw, an expert, expounds their virtues. CROSSLEY RADIO Radio devotees wil. also be interested for a special section of the exhibit is given to the foremost American wireless, the single-dial “Crossley,” which, in the words of dealers, sells itself. There are many owner fans in New Zealand to whom the “Crossley” is a constant joy. It is a set that ensures perfect reception and even under the
worst conditions it is capable of delivering any aerial entertainment to the best possible advantage. The stand is well decorated and arranged for the purpose of demonstrating to visitors.
