MARIE PREVOST Marie Prevost, who appeared in “The Cave Man,” with Matt Moore, was born in Sarnia, Canada, in 1898, and

was educated at Denver. Her family moved to Los Angeles, and she became an extra at the Mack Sennett Studios. For three days at three dollars a day, she was one of the famous “bathing beauties.” Her rise was then rapid. Featured in the Warner pictures, “The Beautif u 1 and the

Damned" arid “Brass.” she was acclaimed by Lubich the deftest of the screen comediennes, and she triumphed in the production of “The Marriage Circle ” Three Women” and “Kiss Me Again.” Her other recent pictures have included “Recompense,” “Bobbed Hair,” and “His Jazz Bride.” She is the wife of Kenneth I^arlan.
