EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL

NATIONAL ELECTRIC CO. STAND The application of electricity to the home is well illustrated by the National Electric Company’s stand at the Winter Show, for there everything electrical is on exhibition. The well-known Hotpoint appliances for domestic use are worth examining. These include (beside the famous “liotpoint” iron) electric kettles, grills, toasters, radiators, bedwarmers and ranges. As if these were not enough, electric appliances for every other domestic duty are available, the articles exhibited including “Thor” electric washing machines, and ironing machines, too; “Walker” dishwasher; and “Premier” Duplex vacuum cleaner. The special features of this particular cleaner is that the brush is motordriven and the bearings are greasepacked. The well-known all-British “Mazda” lamps are included in this firm’s agencies. Wireless enthusiasts will know the “Fada” radio equipment—another exhibit on this stand. “Fada” sets are made in 16 different models, ranging all the way from three-valves to eightvalves, and at prices to suit all pockets. Finally, the B.T.H. loud-speakers and crystal sets can be seen. This stand should not be missed by anyone interested in electricity.
