T.B. SHELTERS
REMOVAL FROM DOMAIN SOLDIERS BEHIND COUNCIL The New Zealand Ex-Service League has endorsed the City Council’s action with a view to removing the T.B. shelters from the Auckland Domain. A sanatorium, it was suggested, should be erected in the Waitakere Ranges. When this matter came before the City Council last evening, the Mayor, Mr. Baildon, said: “We might as well send this on to the Hospital Board.” Cr. M. J. Coyle said that a roundtable conference between the interested bodies ha<l been arranged, and he hoped that some good would come of it. The Mayor: Well, it will do no harm to send it along to the board! “Oh, no,” replied Cr. Coyle.
