AN HISTORIAN.—John Drinkwater in Cromwellian garb. His historical plays, “Oliver Cromwell” and “Abraham Lincoln,” are well known. Lately he has written an interesting book on Charles 11. under the title “Mr. Charles, King of England.” Mr. Drinkwater is married to Miss Daisy' Kennedy, the distinguished violinist.
