REPORT OF ILLNESS By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Thursday. The Grand Duke Nicholas of Russia is seriously ill at his chateau near Paris. —A. and N.Z. The Grand Duke Nicholas was born in November, 1556, at Leningrad (then S. Petersburg). When the Russian revolution ended Russia’s participation in the Great War on the side of the Allies the Grand Duke was for some time a prisoner in Siberia. Eventually he escaped and went to Germany and later to France, where he»has lived ever since. In April, 1926, the Grand Duke was injured in a motor-car accident in Paris.
