LONDON WOOL SALE Under date July 21, the London office of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency cabled as follow: ‘As compared with last sale closing, prices are about par to 5 per cent, higher for Merino inferior, greasy Merino super. Merino lambs’, scoured Merino super, fine scoured crossbred. About 5 per cent, higher for crossbred lambs, greasy Merino medium, coarse scoured crossbred, greasy crossbred, coarse crossbred slipe, scoured Merino medium, medium crossbred slipe. medium scoured crossbred: 7-i per cent higher for fine crossbred slipe. The sales closed firmly to-day. The prices realised for average to super grades of description as below were as follow: “Merino super, 24d to 27d; Merino average, 2f>d to 23d; crossbred. 56 to SS, 23d to 25id: 50 to 56, 20d to 22td: 48 to 50, 16id to 19d: 46 to 48. 15d to 16id: 44 to 46. 14d to 16d: 40 to 44.13 d to 15d: 36 to 40. 12td to 14id.” SALES REPORTED Wellington: New Zealand Breweries debentures bonds, 23s 9d; Bank of New South Wales, £45 ss; Wilson’s Portland Cement, 34s Ed
