“Miss N.Z.” Voting
POSITIONS UNCHANGED ORDER OF CANDIDATES (Special to THE SUN.) DUNEDIN, To-day. night’s voting in the “Miss New Zealand" competition has left the candidates’ positions unchanged, with the exception of those of Miss Kinsey (Maid of Honour to Miss Canterbury), and Miss Cameron (Miss Southland’s Maid of Honour), who have exchanged ninth and tenth places. The order is now:
First: Miss Dale Austen (Miss Otago).
Second: Miss Vera Hodge (Maid of Honour to Miss Otago). Third: Miss Billie Andreasson (Miss Auckland).
Fourth: Miss Hazel Spiers (Miss Wellington). Fifth: Miss Hildred Graham (Maid of Honour to Miss Auckland). Sixth: Miss Leon McCall (Miss Canterbury). Seventh: Miss Pat. Smidt (Maid of Honour to Miss Wellington). Eighth: Miss Winnie Tonkinson (Miss Southland). Ninth: Miss Jane Kinsey (Maid of Honour to Miss Canterbury). Tenth: Miss Morgie Cameron (Maid of Honour to Miss Southland).
