“Flash,” famous motion picture equine recently signed to a long term contract with Paramount, enjoyed the same privileges as Pola Negri, Emil Jannings and Clara Bow before starting work in his new picture. Just as human actors are photographed for make-up and lighting, so was “Flash” accorded a film test before he appeared before the camera in Gary Cooper’s first starring picture “Arizona Bound.” The test was made to determine the colour of saddle to be worn and the best length of the mane and tail.
