VAN OVER BANK
DAMAGE ONLY SLIGHT A motor-van belonging to Mr. R. W. Hayson, butcher, of Epsom, ran down a hill in Servia Street, Newton, early this morning and plunged over a bank. It appears that the van was drawn up at the kerbside while the driver had gone into one of the neighbouring houses. On his return the van had disappeared, and was found to have run downhill over a bank. The driver is certain that the engine was not started and believes that the vehicle was pushed off. The van is only slight]v <-]■■ imaged.
