A GRISLY DEED
MURDER IN A HUT QUEENSLAND DISCOVERY By Cable. —Frees Association. —Copyright BRISBANE, Tuesday. The dead body of Patrick Dowling, who had been employed in cotton picking in the Dawson Valley, was found in a hut which he had been sharing with another man. Deceased’s head and body were dreadfully injured. There was an axe nearby. Police and black-trackers are now searching for Dowling’s companion.— A. and N.Z.
