Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. rrHOUGH Henderson got tlie better 1 bowling average, Blunt was more difficult to play, turning the ball considerably and varying his break in a way that puzzled the batsmen. He was responsible for breaking the Civil Service resistance. In 45 minutes four wickets fell for 34 runs. Bennett, who hit twelve four’s and Evans threatened to avert the innings defeat, but Henderson’s purple patch settled the chance. The attendance was meagre.
