Lang, Premier of New South Wales, and representatives of organisations connected with the primary and secondary industries and the trade and commerce of Australia, also influential citizens, endorsed a proposal to hold in Sydney a British Empire Exhibition for the purpose of promoting the interests of the Empire in general and Australia in particular. Mr. Bruce said it was contemplated that the exhibition would be held in 1931, and the probable site would be Centennial Park. It would be open for six mouths. —A. and N.Z.
