Too Much Jazz. —At the Wanganui Magistrate’s Court yesterday a youth was brought up on a charge of theft of 10s and £1- His employer, a grocer, missed the money and marked the notes in question. Detective Revel] said the youth had been working for the grocer 18 months, and his downfall came through trying to keep pace with the other youths who had more money to spend. He had a penchant for jazz parties and dances. The Magistrate said he would like to have further particulars regarding the youth’s habits before passing sentence, so remanded him.
