DOCTORS 45/- A WEEK By Cable. — Press Association. —Copyright LONDON, Sunday. The Riga correspondent of “The Times” says the Soviet’s recentlyincreased salaries list gives the bestpaid elementary teachers 24s a week, secondary teachers 355, doctors 45s and dentists 2Gs. The Soviet claims that these are princely salaries, but the correspondent says a decent suit of clothes costs £2s.—Times.
