OLD MAN’S DEATH

KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR UNKNOWN MOTORIST A verdict that death was due to fracture of his skull, as the result of his being knocked down by a motor-car driven by a person unknown, was returned by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., this afternoon, in connection with the death of Daniel Neale, aged 70. who was knocked down in Grey Street on March 26. Police evidence went to show that, despite exhaustive inquiries, it had not been possible to discover the driver.
