DEADERS of the trotting column in THE SUN will remember that during an interview “Abaydos” had with the Canterbury sportsman and breeder, Mr. E. X. Lelievre, the latter made special mention of a youngster by Nelson Bingen from Bertha Belle, own brother to Great Bingen, Peter Bingen and Great Peter, which he considered on early appearances would be the pick of the basket. The youngster is now being educated by J. N. Clark at New Brighton, and is attracting a lot of attention. He has furnished into a handsome colt, with a great action, and is already showing unmistakable signs of pace. His future career will be watched with interest by lovers of the popular sport.
