DICKSON—PATTRICK On Thursday afternoon at All Saints’ Church the wedding took place of Nancy Ruth, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Pattrick, Page’s Road, New Brighton, and Laurence, elder son of

Mr. J. S. Dickson, of Auckland, and the late Mrs. Dickson. The bride was exquisitely gowned in a frock of apricot crepe de chine, trimmed with Swedish embroidery and godets of leaf-brown crepe de chineShe wore a hat of taffeta, carried out in the same delicate shading and carried a bouquet of freezias and primroses. She. was attended by her sister, Miss Tessa Pattrick, who wore a dainty jumper frock of crocos silk finished with fine pin tucks and embroidery, with hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of harmonising flowers. Mr. p. E. Pattrick, of Wellington, acted as best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. C. A. Tobin. HARTY—CARRIE A very popular wedding was solemnised in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Devonport, on Wednesday afternoon, when Miss Elsie Carrie, of Devonport, was married to Mr. Ralph Harty, of Honikiwi. The bride had for many years been an active worker in St. Paul’s Church and Sunday School, and the church, which had been prettily decorated by the members of the choir, was packed to the doors. The service, which was choral, was conducted by the Rev. W. Lawson Marsh, M.A., C.F., and Mr. IT. Ashworth presided at the organ. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father and looked charming in a beautiful gown of mushroom pink crepe de chine, with overskirt of silk lace, and wore a picture hat of beige crinoline straw. She carried a lovely bouquet of sweet peas, daphne, orchids and maidenhair fern. Miss Hazel Bain and Miss Ruth Harty attended as bridesmaids. Miss Bain wore a mauve georgette frock trimmed with silver and silver grey georgette, and carried a bouquet of violets and maidenhair fern and a ribbon hat. Miss Harty’s frock was of shell pink georgette with silver trimmings, and her hat was of grey ribbon and georgette. She carried a bouquet of pink sweet peas, camellias and maidenhair fern. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Len. ITarty as best man, and Mr. Roy Mays as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s home, the guests being received by her aunt, Miss Carrie. Among the guests were: Rev. and Mrs. W. Lawson Marsh, Mr. and Mrs. J. Ivew Harty, Mr. and Mrs. J. Mays. Mr. and Mrs. T. Macky, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Skinner, Mr. and Mrs. E. Fraser, Mrs. G. Budd, Mr. and Mrs. Edmonds, Mr. and Mrs. Richmond, Mr. J. Carrie, Mr. and Mrs. H. Robertson, Mrs. Gerrard, Misses IT. and P. Harty, D. and E. Carrie, J. and B. Budd, N. and G. Boyd, M. Richmond, G. Duder, B. Miller and IT. Skinner. The presents were very numerous and beautiful.
