BIG PROGRAMME AHEAD
AUCKLAND ATHLETIC CLUB Supporters of amateur athletics in Auckland will be well catered for for the remainder of the season. On August 13 the Auckland crosscountry championship will be held over a five-mile course and the same day the Cycle Club will hold a 50-mile road race for the Auckland championship. On September 10 the Auckland 10,000 metres distance race will be run. and on the same day the New Zealand 50-mile cycling road race w r ill be held.
