AUCKLAND’S UNEMPLOYED
FIGURES FOR THE WEEK The number of unemployed show a slight decrease this week according to figures supplied by the Labour Bureau this morning. Men fit for heavy work number 422 as compared with 428 last week, while men suitable for light work total 121 as against 133 last week. Men placed in employment during the week number 94, compared with only 68 for the week ending July 9.
