COASTAL MOVEMENTS—

The Tiroa sailed from Gisborne at 4.30 p.m. yesterday for Auckland. She is expected to arrive at about .noon tomorrow, and will leave on the return trip again on Monday evening or Tuesday morning. The Coronation sails for Awanui North to-day. The Portland leaves for Whakatane today. The Isabella de Frame arrived at Hokianga this morning from Auckland and is 'due back here again on Tuesday evening next. The Nobel Explosive Company’s auxiliary schooner Piri came out of dock yesterday. The Ethel Wells came off slip yesterday and undergoes repairs before resumThe Richardson steamer Mako arrived back from Portland last evening. She sails at four o’clock this afternoon for East Coast Bays, Napier and TVairoa. The Awahou is expected to arrive from the East Coast via Portland on Monday evening next. She is to be dispatched

at 5 p.m. the next day for Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne. The Ronaki sailed last night for Portland. The Hauit.i, leaving for TVaiheke at 1.45 p.m. to-day, arrives back again at 6.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Paroto was to sail again at noon to-day for Awanui and Waipapakauri. The Rangitoto, which arrived this morning from Thames, sails again on the return trip at 5.30 p.m. on Monday. The Waipu, arriving from Kerepeehi at two o’clock this afternoon, sails at 10 p.m. on Monrjxy on the return trip. The Kawau, which was to arrive at noon to-day from TVaiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth, sails again at noon on Monday for Kawau Island, Leigh and Mangawai. The Omana, sailing at 9.45 a.m. tomorrow for Surf dale,. Ostend and Omiha, returns again at 7 p.m. the same day. The Taniwha, leaving at midnight tomorrow for Paeroa, arrives bade again at 6 a.m. on Tuesday next. The Claymore sails for Whangarei at 8.30 p.m. to-morrow and returns again at seven o’clock on Tuesday morning. The TVaiotahi, sailing at midnight tomorrow night for Mercury Bay', Tairua and Whangamata returns to port again at 6 a.m. on Wednesday. The Matangi, arriving from Tauranga at seven o’clock to-morrow morning, leaves again at 7 p.m. on Monday on the return trip. The Katoa, from Dunedin, via way Ports, sailed from Picton at 8.30 p.m. last Thursday for Auckland, where she is due to-morrow. After discharge here she loads for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru, and leaves on Wednesday afternoon. The Kanna is still bar-bound at Greymouth, but as soon as the bar moderates the vessel will leave for Westport to complete loading for Auckland. From here the Kanna proceeds to Noumea, thence Walpole Island, to load. The Kaimanawa is to load at Westport about Wednesday for Auckland, and is due here about Sunday next. The Kamona is to sail from Auckland at 6 p.m. to-day for Portland, where she will load for Wellington, Lytetlton and New Plymouth, proceeding to the Southern ports in the order named. The Ivittawa was delayed at Auckland last evening owing to several of the firemen being missing when the vessel was ready to leave. She is expected to sail this morning for Greymouth direct. The Gunbar arrived at Auckland last night from the coast and is cheduled to

sail on her return trip at 10 p.m. on Monday for Gisborne and Napier, via bays. The vessel is receiving: cargo at the Prince’s Wharf. The West Henshaw, in continuation of her voyage from Pacific Coast ports, leaves Auckland at 5 p.m. to-day for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Persian Prince is now to leave Auckland on Tuesday for Wanganui to complete her discharge of Nauru phosphate. From Wanganui the vessel proceeds to Westport for bunkers, thence Nauru Island again to load for New Zealand. The Cambridge sails from here on Tuesday afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to land the balance of her Liverpool cargo.

MAUNGANUI DUE MONDAY route from Vancouver via Honolulu, the Union Company have been advised by cable that the R.M.S. Ptlaunganui sailed from Suva at noon yesterday for Auckland. She is due here on Monday at 11 a.m. and is announced to sail from this port at noon the following day for Sydney.

MARAMA LEAVES SYDNEY advice received by the Union Company states that the intercolonial passenger steamer Marama left Sydney at 3 p.m. yesterday for Auckland where she is expected next Tuesday morning. She is scheduled to leave here at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 22, on her return trip to Sydney.
