INTERESTED ARCHDUKE
WATCHES WAR FILM The Archduke Leopold of Austria was an interested visitor at Universal City recently during the filming of the slaying of Archduke Ferdinand at Sarajevo in 1914. Scenes of the outbreak of the World War and the act that led to the ,hostilities are part of Mary Philbin’s new picture, “Surrender,” directed by Sioman. Archduke Leopold is a nephew of the late Austrian Emperor, Franz Josef, who died just before the close of the war. Leopold is one of the last of the Hapsburgs.
