COMING-OF-AGE PARTY AT THE CROWN STUDIO
Mr. John Smith, of Brisbane, was the guest of honour at a party held in the Crown Studios last evening to celebrate his coming-of-age. The reception room had been attractively decorated for the occasion, and here the guests were received by Miss F. Batchelar, who wore a charming frock of delphinium blue georgette. She was assisted by Miss H. Le Seelle, wearing a frock of pervenche blue georgette embossed in silver. During the evening the usual toasts were honoured and good wishes expressed toward Mr. Smith by Mr. P, K. Daws and a number of enjoyable items were contributed by Mrs. Constable. Miss Winnifred Cooke, Miss H. Coyle, Mr. Churchouse, Mr. Bullot, Mr. Smith and Mr. Arthur Cruzelier. I Among the guests were: Mrs. A. Churchouse, wearing a gown of black and gold georgette. Mrs. Ingram, sequined mauve frock. i Mrs. Constable, Canada, black - and | petunia frock of satin. i Mrs. W. J. Batchelar, bois de rose frock of georgette. I Miss H. Coyle, grey georgette trimmed j with mist tulle. Miss W. Cooke, maize-shaded frock of georgette. Miss Matthews, frock of black georgette. Miss Belsham, frock of cyclamen georgette trimmed with gold. Miss B. Seccomb, bois de rose frock trimmed with silver. ; Miss D. McDonald, Sydney, sequined frock of black ninon. j Miss West, taffeta frock of rose-blush i ‘Shade. Miss K. Williams, frock of embossed jfrory crepe de chine.
