PRINCESS AND TIVOLI

“THE GALLANT FOOL” A capacity audience in the Princess Theatre last night gave a royal welcome to Billy Sullivan’s latest Rayart picture, "The Gallant Fool,” which Duke Worne produced and directed. In this story Sullivan has what is probably the most unique role of his manysided career before the camera. He appears as an American millionaire, who becomes a prince for a day and takes advantage of the opportunity with Yankee daring. Hazel Deane is the princess, and a charming lady of royalty she is. Others who have important parts in the supporting cast are Frank Baker, Jimmy Aubrey, Ferdinand Schuman-Heink. Robert Walker, Ruth Boyd, Mae Prestelle and Glen Cook. George W. Pyper wrote the story, which carries a wealthy young American into a far i.-m dom where a beautiful princess la about to be married on m u ~, prince in order to pay the nation s debts. It so happens that the prince and the Yankee were classmates at Yale, and the prince is in love with an American girl anyway. Accordingly, they exchange identities. As the princess has. never met the prince, the Yankee gets away with the impersonation, or thinks he does. But he gets away with the princess Anally and the national debt is paid too, so everybody is happy.
