RETIRED DIRECTOR
PRESENTATION BY STAFF A presentation was made by the staff of the New Zealand Reed Loom Co., Ltd., to the late managing director of the firm, Mr. Ernest Griffin, at the factory in Newton, on Saturday. Mr. Sampson, in presenting Mr. Griffin with a pair of tortoise-shell military brushes, referred to his commercial and administrative ability, and the harmonious manner in which the staff had worked under his direction. Mr. Griffin in reply thanked the staff for their sincere wishes and generous gift, which, he said, would always remind him of his happy connection with the company. M. Prickett, 1 and 2; J. F.
