R.S.A. AT HOME

The Returned Soldiers’ Association gave a very pleasant “At Home” recently in the Navy League rooms. Among the guests were members of the Auckland branch of the Ex-Service Women’s Association. Padre Pat Leonard and a few of Toe H. members were also present. Musical items were given by Mrs. Hobday, Miss Roach and Messrs. Priest, McNish and Gillespie. A Toe H. chorus brought a very enjoyable evening to a close.

When sticking snaps in an album use the white of an egg; it is better than paste. A simple way to improve your silver shoes is to rub them over with stale bread dipped in a little washing blue.
