EVENING SPORTS

GROUND FOR CAMBRIDGE Efforts are being made to have Victoria Square, Cambridge, lighted with electric flood-lights, which will enable football, hockey and other sports to be played in the evenings. The Borough Council has agreed to assist in the project, and the Rugby Union and Fire Brigade have approved of a scheme of finance which, it is hoped, will be curried out almost immediately.
