DEATH AT OHAKUNE
The death occurred on Tuesday of John Henry Craven, of Ohakune Junction, in the Taihape Hospital, after a short illness with bronchitis. He was born in Bendigo. Victoria, and was 58 years of age. He had resided in Ohakune for the past 20 years and was well known and highly respected. He interested himself in town affairs and was one of the original Town Board members. Up to the time of his death he was a member of the Borough Council and also a prominent member of the local branch of the Labour Party. He will be greatly missed by a large circle of friends. He leaves a widow and two sons.
