LAMB STEAMER CM AN A. —The Lamb steamer Omana is expected to sail to-morrow for Opua and Hokianga to complete loading timber for Sydney and Melbourne.
WHANGAPE SAILS FRIDAY.— The Union Company advises that the steamer Whangape now sails from Auckland on Friday for Newcastle, where she will load again for Auckland TOFUA SAILS SATU RDAY.- I The Union Company advises that the Island passenger steamer Tofua is scheduled to leave Auckland at 11 a.m. next Saturday for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. CUMBERLAND SAlLS*— loaded with Dominion produce, the Federal steamer Cumberland took her departure from AVellington this morning for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow, Manchester, and Liverpool, via Panama.
HINEMOA FOR NORFOLK.—Spedding, Limited, advise that the Government steamer Hinemoa, taking passengers, mails and cargo, will leave Auckland at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Norfolk Island.
MAMARI FOR HOME.— The Shaw. Savill, and Albion steamer Mamari leaves New Plymouth to-day for AVellington, where she completes loading, and finally sails on Saturday for London, via the Cape Horn route.
SWEDISH BARQUE BEATRICE.— The Swedish barque Beatrice with a cargo of phosphates from the Seychelles Islands is expected at Bluff about the end of next month. She will be the first sailing ship to visit Bluff for many years.
NORFOLK AT LONDON. —An arrival at London on Monday was the Federal Line steamer Norfolk from New Zealand. The vessel was dispatched from Auckland on May 28 for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow* and Liverpool.
WAITEMATA DUE FRIDAY. —Due at Auckland on Friday morning from Pacific Coast ports, the Union Company are endeavouring to dispatch the steamer Waitemata the following day for Napier, AVellington, Melbourne and Sydney in continuation of her voyage.
MAUNGANUI NEARS SUVA. —The Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Maunganui is due at Suva on Friday morning from Vancouver, via way ports, and leaves the same day for Auckland. She arrives here next Monday and is announced to sail the following day at noon for Sydney.
CAMBRIDGE ARRIVING.— Having been delayed by strong winds, the Federal steamer Cambridge now arrives at Auckland at 4 p.m. to-day with cargo from Liverpool for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. The New Zealand Shipping Company will be the local agents.
REMUERA DEPARTS FRIDAY.— Taking passengers, mails and cargo, the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the liner Remuera will leave Auckland at 4 p.m. on Friday for Southampton and London, via Panama. Passengers will embark at 3 p.m. the same day.
PORT HARDY DELAYED.— The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company advises that the departure of the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Hardy from Auckland for New York, Boston, and London, via Panama, has been postponed until daylight on Friday next.
MATAKANA’S DEPARTURE.— The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company reports that the Matakana’s departure from Port Chalmers for London, via Monte Video, and Tenerift'e, has been postponed till Monday next. The vessel is due at Port Chalmers today from Timaru.
PLEIODON TO-MORROW. A radio message received by the local office of the British Imperial Oil Company states that the oil tanker Pleiodon expects to arrive at Auckland tomorrow afternoon from San Pedro. She will berth at Western Wharf to pump a quantity of oil into the company’s tanks.
HUNTINGDON’S MOVEMENTS.— The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal steamer Huntingdon leaves Lyttelton to-morrow for Wellington and Auckland, to complete her loading. She is due here on July 21, and is to sail finally from this port on July 23 for London and West of England ports, via Panama.
BRAND LATE. —Owing to bad weather, the Norwegian motor-ship Brand will not arrive at Auckland until 2 o’clock this afternoon from Galveston, Texas. She will berth at the Central Wharf to discharge under the auspices of A. S. Paterson and Company, and will leave to-morrow for Australian ports to complete her discharge.
lONIC’S DEPARTURE DELAYED. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that the departure of the liner lonic from Wellington for Southampton and London, via Panama, has been postjjoned until daybreak on Saturday, July 30. The vessel will leave Port Chalmers to-morrow for Bluff, Lyttelton and Wellington.
PORT PIRIE POSTPON ED .--The C. and L>. Line advises that the steamer Port Pirie has been delayed at Wanganui by bad weather. She leaves tomorrow for Wellington, where she completes loading, and now finally sails next Monday evening l’or London, via St. Vincent.
PORT DUNEDIN'S PROGRAMME. —At present loading at Napier, the C. and D. Line advise that the motor-ship Port Dunedin leaves to-morrow for Wellington, thence New Plymouth and Auckland, to complete. She is expected to arrive here about July 25, and is scheduled to sail finally from Auckland on July 28 for Genoa, Marseilles, and London, via Australia and Suez.
ATHENIC LOADING. —To commence her Homeward loading, the White Star liner Athenic arrived at Wellington yesterday afternoon from Brisbane. She later proceeds to Napier, thence Waikokopu, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland, to fill up. She is due here on July 27, and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on July 30 for Southampton and London, via Panama.
CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST.— Cable advice received by Henderson and Macfarlane states that the West Islip leaves Los Angeles on August 6 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth. She is due here on August 31. The West Nivaria leaves the same port on September 13 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, and is due here on October 8.
STEAMERS FROM LIVERPOOL.— According to a cable message the Federal Line steamer Westmoreland sailed from Liverpool last Sunday with cargo from West of England ports to discharge at Auckland, Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. The vessel is due at Auckland on August 15.
The company’s steamer Somerset is scheduled to leave Liverpool on July 23 Tor Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Bluff. She is due at Auckland on August 29. Other steamers of the Federal Line scheduled to leave Liverpool are: The Kent on August 6, for Auqkland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth; due Auckland September 12.
The Northumberland on September 3 for Auckland, 'Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers; due Auckland October 10.
The Cumberland on September 17 for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers; due Auckland October 24. The Hertford on October 1 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers; due Auckland November 7. PORT OF ONEHUNGA—RARAWA’S TRIP CANCELLED.— Owing to the Manukau Bar being still unworkable, the Northern Company’s steamer Rarawa did not sail for New Plymouth at her scheduled time yesterday. Her trip .has now been postponed and the vessel will leave at 2 p.m. tomorrow. resuming running to her usual time-table. The Ngatiawa, which left Onehunga yesterday morning for Raglan, Kawhia and Port Waikato, was forced to anchor at the heads on account of the bar being unworkable. The Kaitoa, which was delayed at Nelson by bad weather, is now expected to arrive at Onehunga on Saturdav. She will sail on Monday for Nelson and West Coast ports. The Arapawa, arriving from Wanganui this evening, sails again at 2 p.m. tomorrow for Hokianga. PACIFIC ISLANDS REPORT Received at 11 a.m. by Radio.
