POSITION AT HAMILTON
(From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, To-day. The Technical School Board las. night received advice in response to an application for increased accommodation that the amalgamation of tt*®' nical and high schools in towns intermediate size was being considered with a view to economy. Mr. T. B. Strong, Director of Education, who was in Hamilton to-da ■ would make no official pronouncemem on the subject, his visit being mere, one of exploration. ... The position at Hamilton was a« new to him, and he was merely se * ing information. If either of th e boards desired to discuss ama.ga tion, he would be pleased to enter the subject with them. el Mr. Strong said it was too early• to determine the success or otne - of the recent amalgamation at * Plymouth.
