Amery, Secre*ry of State for the Dominions, said ' at no separate figures were kept of o'souhh migration to the Dominions. The total British expenditure under Empire Settlement Act for 62,503 ®>Brants to Canada, Australia and ' ™ Zealand during the year ended «rch 31, was £ 1,297,499, of which kntam provided £701,121, and the Dominions £596,378, including t«>6,7Sl from Australia for 31,638 oiigrants, £102,833 from Canada for ‘.' s7s migrants, and £136,764 from T Zea * £ ' U(7 f° r 11,292 migrants.
