CUMBERLAND FOR HOME.— A projected departure from Wellington this morning for *London, Avonmouth, Glasgow, Manchester and Liverpool via Panama was the Federal steamer Cumberland, loaded with Dominion produce. WAIHEKE SERVICE. —The Northern Company advises that in future it will not run a service to Surfdale, Ostend and Omiha on Mondays. HINEMOA SAILS THURSDAY.— Spedding Limited advises that the Government steamer Hinemoa, taking passengers, mails and cargo, will leave Auckland at 3 p.m. on Thursday for Norfolk Island. PORT HARDY SAILS TO-MOR-ROW.—The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company are endeavouring to dispatch the C. and D. Line steamer Port Hardy from Auckland tomorrow for New York, Boston and London, via Panama. PORT PIRIE AT WANGANUI.— Now at Wanganui loading, the C. and D. Line advises that the steamer Port Pirie is due at Wellington on Thursday to complete. She is to sail finally from Wellington on Saturday for London, via St. Vincent. MERCURY BAY SERVICE.— The Northern Company advises that in future the vessel which now leaves on Monday morning for Mercury Bay, Tairua and Whangamata will be dispatched at midnight on Sunday instead. MAUNGANUI FROM VANCOUVER. —The Union Co. advises that the R.M.S. Maunganui is expected at Auckland next Monday from Vancouver via ports, and is announced to leave here at noon the following day for Sydney in continuation of her voyage. BARON MINTO RADlOS.— Weather permitting, the Napier and Miller steamer Baron Minto, en route from Chile to Auckland and Australia, expects to arrive here on Sunday next, July 17, according to a radio message received b: the local agents, Messrs. Robert Millar and Company. THE CANADIAN SEIGNEUR.— No time has yet been fixed for the sailing of the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Seigneur, which arrived at Auckland yesterday morning with a general cargo from Montreal. The vessel’s broken propeller blade will be replaced at her berth alongside Prince’s Wharf.
HUNTINGDON AT LYTTELTON.— Arriving at Lyttelton this morning from Timaru, the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal steamer Huntingdon later proceeds to Wellington and Auckland to complete her loading. She is due here on July 21 and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on July 23 for London and West of England ports, via Panama,
MAMARI FOR WELLINGTON.— The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that the steamer Mamari leaves New Plymouth to-day for Wellington, where she will complete her loading and sail finally next Saturday for London, via the Cape Horn route. REMUERA SAILS FRIDAY. —At present completing her loading at Auckland, the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the liner Remuera will leave here at 4 p.m. on Friday for Southampton and London, via Panama.
MATAKANA TO COMPLETE. —To complete her loading, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Matakana leaves Timaru to-morrow for Port Chalmers and sails finally from the Otago port next Saturday for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. KAITOA FURTHER DELAYED.— The Anchor Line steamer Kaitoa has been delayed further at Nelson by bad weather. Messrs. Russell and Somers, the local agents, state that she is now due at Onehunga on Saturday next, and will be dispatched on Monday for Nelson and West Coast ports. SOUTHERN CROSS REPORTED.— According to a cable message received yesterday by the Melanesian Mission, the steamer Southern Cross is expected to arrive back at Auckland on July 16 or 17. The vessel left Auckland about two months ago on a visit to the mission stations in the West Pacific Islands and was originally due back last week.
PORT DUNEDIN’S PROGRAMME. —The C. and D. Line advises that the motor-ship Port Dunedin leaves Napier on Thursday for Wellington, New Plymouth and Auckland, to complete her loading for Genoa, Marseilles and London. She is expected to clear here finally about July 28, via Australia and Suez.
BRAND DUE THIS AFTERNOON. —A further radio message received by A. S. Paterson states that the motorship Brand will arrive at Auckland late this afternoon from Texas. From this port the vessel will proceed to Port Kembla, Geelong, Adelaide, Wallaroo and Port Lincoln to complete her discharge of sulphur.
CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST.— A radio message received by the Union Company states that the trans-Pacific cargo steamer Waitemata will arrive at Auckland on Friday morning from Pacific Coast ports. After discharging the local portion of her cargo the vessel proceeds to Napier, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney to complete. TOFU A IN PORT.— The Union Company’s Island passenger steamer Tofua arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon from another of her periodical trips to the Islands. The vessel, commanded by Captain Duncan MacDonald, left Auckland on June 18 last and made the usual calls at Fijian, Tongan and Samoan ports. She left Suva finally for Auckland at 6 p.m. on July 7. The whole voyage was made in fine weather and nothing of any note happened, the trip being an uneventful orje. The following passengers arrived by the Tofua:

Cambridge, Maunganui, Pleiodan, Aorangi, Waitemata, Baron Minto, Pulpit Point. Wellington.—Maori, Wahine, Ngaio, Tamahine, Port Pirie, Mamari, Kaponga, Port Dunedin, Coolana, Athenic, Maimyo, Wirral, Kaitoke, Kawatiri. Awarua.—Tekoa, Matakana, lonic Kaiwarra, Waitomo. PORT OF ONEHUNGA—DEPARTURE TO-DAY NGATIAWA, (11 a.m.), 451 tow, Pert, for Raglan, Kawhia and Port Waikato. The Rarawa is now scheduled to sail at 3 o’clock this afternoon for New Plymouth, and will arrive back at 7.30 a.m. on Thursday. The Ngatiawa left Onehunga this morning for Raglan, Kawhia and Port Waikato. She is expected to arrive back again on Thursday morning and is scheduled to sail later the same day for Hokianga. The Arapawa, which was delayed yesterday at Wanganui by bad weather, cleared that port at 5 o’clock this morning for Onehunga. She is expected to
