OPOTIKI COUNTY RATES
The following: rates for 1927-28 were confirmed at the monthly meeting of the Opotiki County Council: —A generate rate in each of the Ohiwa, Waiotahi, Otara and Coast ridings of 3Jd in the £ ; a general rate in the Waioeka riding of 3d in the £ ; a general rate in the Upper Waioeka riding of 4d in the £ ; a separate rate over the whole country of 3-8 d in the £ (hospital rate); a special rate of l-8d in the £ over the whole county in respect of the Waioeka bridge loan; a special rate of 2&d in the £ be collected in the Upper Waioeka spcial rating district; a special rate of 1 3-16 d and 1-lGd respectively in the £ in respect of the Pakihi special rating district loan; a special rate of Id in the £ in respect of the Whinray Mauromoko special rating district loan; a special rate of Id in respect of the Upper Waiotahi special rating district loan: a special rate of Id in the £ in respect of the Waiotahi Crooked Road special rating district loan.
