NO NOMINATIONS EASTBOURNE VACANCY Press Association. WELLINGTON, Monday. The returning officer of the East bourne borough said to-day that sin« no nominations to fill the vacancy i, tlie Mayoralty, brought about by th, resignation of Mr. H. M. Jones had been received on Saturday, he had again advertiser for nominations. If any were received before July the election would take place on August 5.
The position is that the returning officer will have to advertise for notnit nations until a nomination is received.
