BOXING CONTEST AT NEW PLYMOUTH
CASEY DEFEATS HEENEY A T New Plymouth on Saturday evening in a professional boxing contest, Harry Casey, New Zealand middle-weight champion, who hails from the capital city, defeated the ex-middle-weight champion, Tom Heeney, on points, after 15 rounds chockful of excitement. The two men were evenly matched, but Casey being the more aggressive and enterprising boxer of the two, held a slight advantage over his opponent nearly all the way through the contest. There was a considerable amount ol in-fighting.
