PLUNKET SOCIETY MONTHLY MEETING A meeting of the local branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket Rooms on Tuesday. There were present: Mrs. Sigley (in the chair), Cummins, Ash well, Brown, Lynch and Miss Harirs. In a communication received from headquarters it stated that the manufacture of Plunket emulsion had been transferred from Seacliffe to Wellington. Accounts amounting to £l9 16s lOd were passed for payment. The district nurse reported as follows: Raetihi.—Old cases, 133; new cases, 3; total in district, 136. Ohakune.—Old cases, 137; new cases, 1; total in district, 138. Horopito.—Old cases, 21; new cases, 0; total cases in district, 21. Rangitaua.—Old cases, 23; new cases, 0; total in district, 23. Pokaka.—Old cases, 25; new cases, 0; total cases in district, 25. After the business of the meeting a dainty afternoon tea, provided by Mesdames Ashwell and Brown, was partaken of.
