LOSS TO PRESBYTERIANISM
REV. J. D. McKENZIE RESIGNS The Rev. J. D.. McKenzie, who has resigned from the charge of the Edendale Presbyterian Church, has also retired from the active ministry, after a long period of service. Mr. McKenzie came from Australia to St. Paul’s Church, Wanganui, later moving to St. Stephen’s, Ponsonby later going to Edendale, where he has been for the past five years. The Edendale Church will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, when the question appointing a successor will be considered. Last evening the interim moderator of the charge, the Rev. L. 11. Hunt preached the service.
