SIR HARRY BATTERBEE LONDON, Thursday. King George to-day invested the Duke of York’s political secretary, Mr. Harry Batterbee, with the insigna of a Knight Commander of the Victorian Order.—A. and N.Z. Sir Harry Fagg Batterbee was born in 1880 and educated at Faversham School and Oxford University. He entered the Colonial Office in 1905.* From 1916-19 he was private secretary to the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
