A POPULAR CURATE

After spending 18 months as curate a t Cambridge the Rev. N. Luker has been appointed vicar of Uruti, North Taranaki, and he leaves for that parish at the end of the present month. Mr. Luker has been an active and popular curate and will carry with him the best wishes of a wide circle of friends. St. Andrew’s vestry accepted his resignation with regret and passed a resolution expressing hearty appreciation of his splendid services.
