TAURANGA HARBOUR BOARD

Tauranga Harbour Board held its monthly meeting yesterday, Mr. D. Grant presiding. Messrs. J. G. Green, Wilson, D. Stewart and C. Lally were also present, but Messrs. C. E. Macmillan, M. 8., C. Clinkard and H. M. Martin were unable to attend owing to ill-health. The engineer reported the dredging in connection with the railway was finished and all arrangements made for the wharf to be supplied with water and electricity. The question of the reduction of harbour dues was adjourned to the next meeting. The sum of £2 2s was voted to the Bay of Plenty Development League. Instructions were issued to the engineer to prepare and present to the next meeting of the board a plan of offices for the railway wharf.
