“RINGING-IN” CHARGES
MCCARTHY LEAVES N.Z. EXTRADITION effected ssfALTER MCCARTHY, aged 36, *’ appeared at the Police Court this mernirg, and was committed to the custody of Detective-Con-stable W. R. Lawrence, for extradition to Sydney. On arrival there he will be charged with conspiring to defraud various Australian trotting clubs of large sums of money. He left for Sydney this morning by the Maheno.
